Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is a mother of Russian origin who was born in Afghanistan. Mahendru speaks fluent German Russian English, French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru, born in India, to her Russian father and an Indian mother, is proficient in both languages. The choreographed show she performed at age 11 that aired on German television, turned her into the Russian dancer and snow maiden. The girl graduated high school in New York before earning a bachelor of Arts (English) at St. John's University. While in New York, she was studying acting in the HB studio. In the following years, she moved to the Groundlings School and took up various tasks. Her parents were an Afghani Hindu-Indian mother and Russian father from Kabul in Afghanistan. Their parents split when she was 13 years older and they relocated from the city of her birth to East Meadow New York with her father.She is a part of Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell in The Americans on FX. The Americans. She is best known as the ex- KGB Agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. The actress also appeared on Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
